Where to begin? I started Spinning about 12 years ago when a neighbor dragged me to my first Spinning class at the old Brentwood location. After almost expiring from the first few classes, I started to get the hang of it and absolutely fell in love with the workout and the way it made me feel. After a while I decided to get certified and accomplished that in 1999. Julie gave me the opportunity to substitute in a few classes and eventually moved on to be a full time instructor in 2003.
My teaching philosophy is simple; classes should be challenging yet fun not to mention old guy music; if a workout becomes drudgery, odds are you will find something else to do.
Besides Spinning I do ride outside and play golf. Also I am in the process of becoming certified in Ki-Hara resistance stretching (think Dara Torres).
