We are excited to bring Kidyasa to St. Louis Spinning! This 50min yoga class is for ages 5-12. They will seperated into two classes: 5-8yrs and 8-12yers (giving parents the option for 8 year olds to be in either). The class will take place once a week for five weeks on either Tuesday or Saturday.
Saturday: 10:30am- Ages 8-12
11:30am- Ages 5-8
Wednesday: 4:15pm- Ages 7-12

My name is Megan. I am a currently studying Elementary and Special education and hope to be teaching at a school district in the St. Louis area. I fell in love with yoga immediately after taking my first class. I have struggled my whole life with ADHD and found that yoga made me calmer and focused. As I worked towards my degree in education, I realized that the benefits that yoga provided for me would also help children. I decided that it would be a life goal of mine to bring yoga to future generations. My classes are centered around age appropriate child activities including games, song, and stories. Breathing and relaxation exercises are incorporated to help calm and bring self-awareness.
My name is Katie Kuehl and I am currently on the gymnastics team at Lindenwood university. I have been doing gymnastics since I was 8 years old and have been surrounded with fitness and yoga my entire life. With both my mom and aunt being yoga instructors I have learned how important it is to be aware of your body and practice breathing through certain movements of the body. I am also a Gymnastics instructor at team central gymnastics academy and Excel gymnastics. I love working with kids and i enjoy watching them accomplish things they never thought they could. I cannot wait to introduce and practice yoga with kids of all age groups and show them the great qualities it can bring them.
