In 1995, we brought Spinning to St. Louis, invented by Johnny G of Maddog Athletics that simulated a combination of road and mountain biking in an indoor setting done with music and lighting. Fifteen years later going strong, Spinning, The Ultimate in Body Recycling, now includes core classes on the Stability ball and yoga classes in addition to the 40+ spinning classes per week.
I have enjoyed the last three years devoting my focus of 400 hours in teacher training for yoga, and another 300 hours in workshops in and out of town. My journey is taking me in the path of certification for Anusara yoga, a style that focuses on a set of alignment principles, life affirming tantric philosophy, and heart oriented community. My training in yoga has complimented my teaching of spinning classes and has deepened my desire to share yoga with my students.
Fitness started as a hobby and a business for me but it really has become a way of life. I also own an ad specialties company, F&B Promotions which is attached to Spinning which keeps me busy when I am not teaching. I have two golden retrievers that accompany me daily to work which are my true pride and joy. For fun I love to take the dogs to the park, hang out with my family and friends for dinners, and take my dad out bummin' somewhere at least once a week.
